KUALA LUMPUR, Sat: The Bar Council today decided to convene an extraordinary general meeting of the Malaysian Bar at 10.00 a.m. next Saturday, September 20 at Wisma MCA to discuss the violation of the rule of law in the light of the arrests of Raja Petra Kamaruddin, Sin Chew journalist Tan Hoon Cheng and Seputeh MP YB Teresa Kok under the Internal Security Act and the issuance of show-cause letters to the three newspapers, Sin Chew Daily, The Sun and Suara Keadilan.

Our Comment:

1. We strongly condemn the Police Force to the bones for using ISA on Raja Petra, Teresa Kok and Tan Hoon Cheng. This is a final warning to all those who propagate ISA by using detention without trial on Malaysians. Normally, we only give advise/chance 3 times. After that, we do not care anymore to those who do not want to listen. It is up to their fates from now on.

2. This latest string of ISA arrests are the work of Dr Mahathir, Musa Hassan and their cohorts. They know that if Abdullah pushes through with his reform agenda in this country, their days are numbered. So, they are very desperate and want Abdullah to step down and disappear into oblivion. They are more afraid of Abdullah than Anwar because Abdullah is going to restore the original rights and powers of the Malay Rulers, reform the Judiciary, reform the ACA, reform the Police Force and etc. Also, as an insider, Abdullah knows very well all their 'skeletons in the closets'.

3. Let's look at Dr Mahathir's moves. First, he accuses Abdullah of the rising racism in this country. Second, he caught hold of his anchor man Muhyiddin to do his bidding in UMNO, since he has already lost Najib. Third, he instructed Musa Hassan & cohorts to implement the latest strings of ISA arrests. There may be more to come. The next move is to re-enter UMNO.

4. As we have said earlier, 'Sodomy 2' was also his bidding and now this 'Operation Lallang 2'. We can clearly see his pattern of strategies. These are the same old dirty tricks. So, in fact, Dr Mahathir and his cohorts are the real enemies of Islam, Malaysia and her citizens, as we have said before.

We Condemn Muhyiddin To The Bones !!!!!!!!!

(Bernama) Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim Friday came out guns blazing against International Trade and Industry Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who Thursday asked the transfer of power fixed for 2010 be brought forward.

The de facto law minister said if Muhyiddin was not happy with the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, he should either resign or be sacked by Abdullah.

Our Comment:

1. We strongly condemn Muhyiddin to the bones for asking Abdullah to step down as PM.

2. Muhyiddin has been 'duped' by Dr Mahathir like Raja Petra.

3. So, we strongly recommend Abdullah to ask Muhyiddin to resign or if he does not want to, sack him, as said by Zaid. There is no point keeping a 'thorn in the flesh' in the Cabinet. He can do more damaging things in the future.

4. Further, as an UMNO MT member, he should know the rules of an organization. When a consensus is reached, all members MUST abide by it. We recommend that UMNO take disciplinary action against him for this wrong doing. He, as a leader in UMNO, should show a good example to the grassroots.

5. Since he is Dr Mahathir's cohort, Dr Mahathir has instructed him to bring down Abdullah and influence Najib to be on Dr Mahathir's side. We saw their faces on TV yesterday and that's what their faces show.
