Health is priceless and so it is very important for the citizens of Malaysia to stay healthy and prevent from being sick. There are many ways to stay healthy and we would like to recommend one 300-year proven approach to the citizens of Malaysia.

REAL NATURAL HEALTHY BEVERAGE YERBA MATE FROM ARGENTINA

Medical experts from all over the world further discussed the lesson why the main meat consuming people, Argentinians, who lack the balance of vegetables, yet their blood contents still are the first in the world. The citizens there do not suffer from blood diseases, paralysis or anyone suffering from diabetes. Despite of that, they are more energetic and of high spirit as well as having perfect nutrition. Further research done by medical experts has found that every Argentinian has the habit of long-term drinking Patagonia Yerba Mate.

The secret behind Argentinian health is announced for the first time.

Let’s listen to foreign experts confirmation regarding Patagonia Yerba Mate.

· Nobel Prize Winner Bern Ardo Houssay elaborated and confirmed that Yerba Mate contains the main element called “mateina” which is very good for human being. It can get rid of excessive bile secretion, resist diseases, control diabetes, hasten blood circulation, ease urination, stimulate heart, brain and body mechanisms. It also can eradicate fatigue and maintain high spirit.

· The Chairman Argentina Nourishment Research Center Dr. Pedro said: “Among the natural plants, Yerba Mate contains the highest content of Vitamin C………”

· International Food League, The Chairman of Paris Headquarters A. Lenglet said: “Yerba Mate can overcome fatigue quickly and increase body energy. In addition, it can balance and control body internal mechanisms.”

· Dr. Epery of Paris said: “Yerba Mate is a holy essence for regaining body energy after traveling or working.”

· Dr. Victor Amaral, The Chancellor of Brazil Barala’ University said: “Yerba Mate is a nourishing beverage, stimulating and providing as well as ease urination dose.”

· A Morean de Tours, Chemist and Physiologist of Paris, Pastre Research Center said: “Yerba Mate is the stimulating dose, it contains ‘carbon’, mateina and caffeine are good to human body but without any side effects.”

· Dr. A. Lankaster, England Museum Professor said: “Should introduce drinking Yerba Mate widely, just as drinking nourishing tonic.”

· Paris Science College Lecturer M. Dastre said: “Yerba Mate is unique, it can let man resists long time vigorous exercise and do not feel tired………”

· Dr. Latleux, Organic Study Lecturer, Bulogoc Surgical in charge said: “Yerba Mate subsidies energy and reduces loss, it’s a fusty beverage.”

· Dr. M. Thevenard of University Paris said: “Yerba Mate contains ‘carbon’ similar to gland secretion, is a nourish tonic. From the health point of view, and its special contents, it is the best.”

Research from Commonwealth experts has shown the efficiency of Yerba Mate. We can understand the reason why Argentinians are healthy and strong.

The leaves are picked from the Yerba Mate plants, baked, roasted and ground. It is rich in vitamins, fiber elements and ‘mateina’. This health product does not contain any chemical mixed compound.

UNDERSTANDING 2 MAJOR DISEASES

High Blood Pressure – The Silent Killer

· High blood pressure is a condition where our body’s blood pressure rises and stays high even when we are resting

· Blood pressure rises when the density of the blood increases (due to over consumption of salt) or if the blood vessels are clogged (due to high levels of cholesterol) or the heart needs to pump more blood (due to obesity)

· If untreated, it can also cause a heart attack, impaired vision and kidney failure

· High blood pressure does not occur spontaneously but gradually

· High blood pressure does not have any specific signs or symptoms

· High blood pressure does not have a cure. It can only be controlled

Cancer – Major Killer

Scientists believed Yerba Mate contains polyphenols amongst them that act as anti-oxidants to fight cancerous cells. These anti-oxidants attack the free radicals that are present in our body and in the environment. These free radicals are believed to be the source of cancerous cell growth in the human body.

For a society to be prosperous as a whole, there has to be stability, and stability only comes when people see a better life ahead and a reduction in poverty. This is especially true when poverty is associated with a racial or religious group or country (for example, the US).

The roots of our success as a nation lie in our political stability. While this should not come at the expense of democracy, freedom of expression and transparency, it should certainly have as its goal, the alleviation of poverty.

The fundamental and admirable goal of the NEP was the alleviation of poverty associated with the redistribution of wealth. Most socially liberal people like myself have always leaned in favour of redistribution of wealth.

I have met very few people indeed that really object to the NEP being used to help lift the very poor from the kampung out of poverty and into modern society. However, most people I know object to the NEP as a vehicle for the already well off to get even richer.

Now Sabah has arguably more natural resources than peninsular Malaysia but Umno does not seem to be interested in articulating the equity case for the Kadazans and the other indigenous peoples of Sabah and Sarawak as vehemently as it insists on bumi rights.

If an international panel of eminent sociologists, historians, economists and anthropologists, was formed to examine the bumi case, I sure that they would find it extremely difficult to justify it in the form peddled by Umno.

Indeed the panel might even say that the ethnic Indians and the poor urban Chinese have a better case for affirmative action benefits. Many of the affirmative action schemes have been transformed into racketeering ones with parasitic cronies traveling along the Ali Baba highway to become millionaires.

In consequence, the poor of all ethnic groups are more marginalised than ever. Also, not a few of these schemes have engendered a colossal waste of public funds contributed by taxpayers.

It behooves Umno to realise that other races also exist; that they too aspire to better their standard of living especially the poor non-malay bumis in the interior of Sabah and Sarawak.

Another serious question Umno, or its president Badawi should address is the question of ownership. Umno is still quarrelling that they only have 19 percent of the nation's economic cake.

But they never ask how much is owned by the Brunei, Iban, Kadazan, Kedayan, Orang Sungei, Orang Ulu etc, communities? Did Umno ever give shares to these groups of minority non-malay bumis? For instance, how many scholarships have been given by Petronas to non-malay bumis?

Umno or anyone else, not even a superpower, can stand-alone without depending on others. Umno, like everyone else is only a tiny part of the bigger whole, to which everyone must belong. Don't think that Malaysia belongs to Umno, much less the world.

So Umno, don't be too egoistic, think of others too so that you will get a better and balanced perspective. The world is not about Umno only. It is about every individual that occupies and lives in this world. We are all interdependent. Let us wake up to that reality.

Look at the leaderships both in Sabah and Sarawak. They have all made money for themselves at the expense of the rakyat and Umno continues to condone this. With chief ministers and others who spend millions at casinos - what can we expect?

For Umno Youth to cry for NEP revival without considering factors like transparency and accountability as its key indicators highlights their moral bankruptcy. Why did they not make the battle against corruption one of their major issues as this would have placed immense pressure on the government to act. Perhaps, the obvious fact remains that you need clean hands to take on such an issue.

What have the Sabahans and the Sarawakians got, the people at the grassroots level? Have their standards even in terms of education improved? We talk so much about Vision 2020 and the Malaysian spirit. The fact remains that unity is only as strong as the weakest link.

With the press under control and the Anti-corruption Agency beholden to the politicians, there is too much selectivity in the way issues are handled. Open up and you will find that there are enough Malaysians who will give you information about all the underground activities that are going on in various government-linked companies.

It is time that Dr Mahathir understands what he had done in providing economic progress without matching this with adequate openness, with regards to checks and balances, and space for democratic exchange.

Unless the government opens up, we will continue to be exploited by the greed of those in the administration. Come on, get real. The world is not only about Malaysia and Umno.

The BN has criminalised all our freedoms.

We cannot walk as a group, we cannot put up a banner on our own building, we cannot have equal radio and TV time for all registered political parties to reach out to citizens to explain party policies, we cannot have access to information, we cannot have a reasonable campaign period prior to election, we cannot have a licence as a matter of right to publish, we cannot challenge any ministerial decisions in any court of law,

Our basic fundamental rights and freedoms have all been taken away through subsidiary regulations and laws.

To me, Malaysia is run by institutionalised bullies, corrupters, gangsters, goons, infidels, liars, monkeys, scumbags, thieves and all that are mentioned in the Book Of Hell!

In history, teacher said that we must accept this injustice because the malays let us to live here as one of their citizens, if it wasn't of their tolerance, we wouldn't be here - during the time before we independence, they keep objects of we existence on this country until they achieve an agreement, where they are the more superior ones.

Shit……….brainwash, nowadays even the textbooks about our country history can't be trusted, they intended to brainwash the younger generation so that they might thought that it was the malays who are the ones who made Malaysia like this today!

But what can we do since such issue is sensitive in our country, talking against it will cost we severely - and they say, Malaysia is a democratic world.

Hello you asked………."You got to give credit to Umno and Umno Youth for the current state of affairs in the country." If you meant language wise in its literary sense - I am packing up and won't come back for anymore banter with thee!

They did a pretty good job in creating the current blooming mess in the country, don't they?

The brain drain, the closed tenders to undeserving contractors, the condoning of keris wielding, the continuing mutual racial suspicions that got worse since 1957, the crony politics, the fly-by-night millionaires with homes that are helicopter pads and gold plated, the schools, the university entrance, the annual scholarship fiasco……….you name it. You got give them credit for them?

Truth hurts but truth really prevails - this country sucks!

If you turn on BBC, there are fair and equal coverage on the UK opposition parties.

So is NHK (Japan), so is KBS (Korea), so is CNN (America), so is CBC (Canada), so is ABC (Australia).

Even in our neighboring Thailand, their TV coverage is fair for both ruling and opposition parties!

Only in this Umno hijacked country that you find most lop-sided idiotic coverage on Umno and its running dog partners!

Johor Umno malays said it had adversely affected tens of thousands of malay students in the rural areas who had been denied quality education in view of the "uneven competitive field".

Surely, the answer is not to lower standards for university admissions but to raise the standards of the rural schools. Provide them with the resources to improve their standards.

Who is responsible for education? The Barisan government! The minister should blame his own government for this state of affairs. He should insist that spending should be cut in other areas, such as white elephant, showboat buildings etc, and redirect the money to education.

Lowering the standards only produces lower quality products. So the minister wants to get poor quality products into the universities.

What will be the result - unemployed graduates who were misled to believe that their lower grade qualifications would be a passport to a good life.

It is the usual answer of the Barisan government to always to look for the easy way out whenever faced with a problem. Instead of looking at the problem in the face and taking the correct remedy, even if difficult, the government always is afraid to bite the bullet.

Rather, the government chooses the easy way by moving the goal posts to make life easy for itself but to the future detriment of their constituents.

The people get the government they deserve if they continue to put such people in office.

In the globalize world, it is amazing that there still exist segregation, enjoying all kind of free subsidies, while their fellow brothers and sisters have to pay their own way.

Be like me, never buy or even bother reading Malaysia newspaper. Who cares anyway? Each year more and more experts from Malaysia emigrating to other countries leaving morons behind. That is the fact.

To me, I think there is never an issue or question whatsoever to have good Malaysian students (malays or non-malays) in the UiTM or UTAR or whatever. They should be admitted because they are good students and by being present there, they will serve to improve and increase the quality and standard of education in these institutions. World-class higher institution of learning takes many decades to become one.

Race is never an issue here. I think only these BN based politicians would like to "cooperate" from times to times to highlight the issue.

It is sad for someone who is an academician has this kind of mentality. The nation cannot prosper with this archaic thought.

Wake up! I pity PM Badawi, he is better off hiring some zookeepers for his administration.

Nobody can help us now.
This government is run by the Umno malays.
They can twist and turn as they like.
They don't give a damn about the other races.
So we all go for help internationally!

Our nation is slowly but surely going backwards. It is indeed a sad day for Malaysia.

What can we say about these folks, who are lost in this globalised world and refuse to face up to reality and continue living on goodies……….

Malaysia is slowly turning itself into the dark ages. With the bully tactic and narrow-minded thinking of the government, our country would one day turn into another chaos incident like the May 13.

Pak Lah should be fair and lenient and not always listening to the extremist Umno Youth who is out to destroy the forum for discussion in our multi-religious society.

Frankly after nearly 50 years of independence, we are still not free to discuss our own constitution. This means we just simply sweep the issues under the carpet and let it fester and eventually explode in a bloody revolt.

God asks us not to lie. But it seems that our prime minister is the liar of all time! Which election promises did he fulfill so far? None. This is plain lie. He should quit immediately.

Do you think the non-Muslims will support independent in 1957 and Sabah and Sarawak will join Malaysia in 1963 if it is an Islamic state?

Decades of politics of religion had a long term and permanent consequences to the country and people. Many people have lost touch of their Asian cultures and adopted an aggressive culture of the Middle East.

Islamic being our national religion is a fine matter with me. But Malaysia being Islamic state is something I can't put into my head. As there is 50% non-Muslims in Malaysia, how could Malaysia be an Islamic state?

We have to accept that Pak Lah is not in the class of political animal as Mahathir. Though he had the weaknesses, he still has some conscience. Sadly for us, he had not the capability to change the system corrupted by Mahathir.

I wish Pak Lah could be stronger, but then our fate is such that capable people in this land had evil intents. We reject people with evil intents at all costs.

You can't expect too much from our interviewers and reporters. Most of the time they are just overawed by the "great" person they have the privilege to interview.

Further they have already been coached on what questions not to ask and even if they make a mistake, the sub-editor is going to whitewash the interview.

Malaysia with all its repressive laws has not progressed much in the last 20 years although the present authorities appear to have tolerated a slight opening of the gate but that may also be locked again soon.

In Malaysia, talk the walk is given preference. Then how can we expect talk the walk! In fact the ministers do not even know how to talk as well as how to walk.

The prime minister retreat from accountability and transparency is a measure of his declining political capital.

He broke many of his campaign promises and now with the increase demands of the economy and political challenge, must resort to the age-old Umno tactic of pandering to the fringes of his constituencies - the fascist, indulgent, intolerant groups.

The mediocrity of our nation begins with the mediocrity of our leaders and a glass ceiling to all we do.

That is the results of social engineering when politics is the way of life. It is the shortcut to material gains. There is no way Malaysia can ever pull itself up to be a nation of respectable people.

The country will have to self destruct first before it can ever be rebuilt. Colonization is one alternative, unfortunately.

It is been interesting to read such free-flowing comments on an all "Malaysians" free for all.

The "malays" are not a race. I am so sorry that you are only hearing this now. The rest of the academic world has known it for years.

Evidence, and not mere gut-feeling please.

From Yunnan to Taiwan, to Philippines, to Borneo, back to Cambodia, then to Kelantan, mixed with Achenese, Pattanis, Negritos, Jakuns, Javanese, Indians, Chinese and Arabs again.

In short, a Chinese mixed sub-race. Why not just say Chinese?

Anonymous said...

Kid, the more you asked them, the more confused they are. The education ministry ministers can't even talk and coordinate properly within their ministry itself. So, can we still trust them to oversee matters concerning education in this country?

A 3 years old boy can answer that. They are all sleeping like Badawi. Good for nothing. Even if we sacked him, we still get the same stupid idiot because they all come from same party and lead by a half past six president!

Nothing will Change. 50 years over and we still do not know what is the best system for our education let along building schools!

I refer to the comment - Mahathir did more harm than good.

I cannot but agree with some writer. As I plan to move my family overseas, I feel really sad for my country and friends I am going to leave behind.

Mahathir was a great man and he could have done a lot for the country. He was determined, intelligent, sarcastic, well qualified and witty but unfortunately, somewhere along the way he succumbed to human failings like all of us.

He became a slave to ego and greed and as a result, his heart was corrupted and he could not see beyond himself. Alas, it is too late now.

I can see no great Malaysian leaders in the pipeline. Initially, I thought that Hisham could have been a great leader being a professional but after the 'keris' incidents and his racists remarks, I know he won't be going far.

A great leader must be a leader for all, irrespective of race.

Life is full of regrets when we look back but the one regret I am not prepared to have is my children's future as I may not be around to see the next generation lead their life. As parents, what are we working for if not for our children, the next generation?

Sad to say, most of our leaders cannot see that and ironically, they are the one blessed with the power to shape the future generations, including their children.

Dear Recent Commenters,

Thanks for all your comments.

Many of your comments are genuine and valid and we fairly well understand your aspirations and frustrations. Also, we have highlighted many of them either in M-T or in our previous post.

We are monitoring and taking appropriate actions as per our improvement plans for Malaysia. If the progress is not within our expectations, we have extended our actions until they have achieved our targets.

We hope the Government are reading all our (especially our commenters) comments here and in M-T and take the necessary actions to resolve these issues soonest.
