PETRONAS Half-Truths On Sudan Refinery Project

ONLINE MEDIA STATEMENT
===============

After deliberation, our group's leader would like to convey the following:

1. The PETRONAS's CEO Mohd Hassan Merican did not tell the whole truth regarding the shelving of the Sudan Refinery project.

2. In addition to the increase in cost factor of the Sudan Refinery project as published in the mainstream media, he did not tell the truth about the oil scam and other aberrations that they are going to implement in this refinery after we have highlighted this issue in our previous statement.

End Statement.

1. We strongly condemn the PETRONAS CEO for not disclosing the whole truth of the Sudan Refinery project to the PM, the stake holders and the people of Malaysia.

2. Since PETRONAS cannot be trusted, we strongly recommend to the PM to ammend the Petroleum Act so that PETRONAS reports directly to a special committee or commission in Parliament headed by the PM.

3. Also, we strongly recommend that Dr Mahathir be removed from being the Advisor of PETRONAS since he cannot be trusted to steer PETRONAS to be a trustworthy company and a pride to Malaysia.

4. Lastly, we strongly urge the PM to drop all the Ministers and Deputy Ministers in his Cabinet line-up who have asked him to step down from being the PM of Malaysia and the President of UMNO immediately.

Best Regards.........
