Among The Issues: School Dress Too Thin !!!

ONLINE MEDIA STATEMENT
===============

After deliberaton, our group's leader would like to convey the following:

1. As entrusted by Rasulullah s.a.w. during his dying wish to His Companions r.a., we as Muslims shall also uphold this responsibility i.e. care of our 'Solah' (Prayers), care of our women and care of our Muslim 'Ummah' in general.

2. The school dress is too thin. Islam does not allow unauthorized people to see the color and shape of the inner beauty of women (including their underwear) right through their thin clothings. The school dress does not meet one of this minimum criteria.

End Statement.

1. As devoted Muslims, we are obliged to honor and uphold the death wish of our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. The first important wish of Rasulullah s.a.w. is to take good care of our 'Solah'. This is because it is the pillars of Islam. If there are no pillars, then the religion of Islam will come crumbling down. The second most important wish of Rasulullah s.a.w. is to take good care of our women. We must take care of them not only on their safety but also on their honor and needs. And the third important wish of Rasulullah s.a.w. is to take good care of His 'Ummah'. That's how much the Prophet s.a.w. loves us until His last breath. We must honor His love for us by adhering to the teachings of Islam which He has brought to us from Allah s.w.t. Do not betray His love for us.

2. Of course, sometimes we cannot perform 'Solah' within the stipulated period for whatever reasons in our busy life. We must remember that if we cannot perform any one of the daily obligatory 'Solah' within the stipulated period, we have to pay it back. Allah s.w.t. will surely accept our 'Solah' as long as we perform it sincerely, InshaAllah.

3. Men are the guardians of women. With regards to their honor, we have to safeguard them from any sexual intrusion/harassment and immoral inclinations including the dress code. Talking about the school dress, we are disgusted to hear the remarks made by PAS Youth Chief Salahudin Ayub and Education Minister Hishammuddin who said that the current school dress is alright. We fully agree with and endorse the views of Munirah Bahari, Vice-President of the National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia on this matter.

We would like to remind them that the current school dress is too thin. If we see it against the sun, it would be worse. At present, parents who really understand their responsibility towards their daughters have bought singlets for them to wear so as not to reveal their skin, shape and underwear. We recommend that the Education Ministry review their rulings/guidelines on the school dress code for improvement.

4. Lastly, we are also obliged to take care of the Muslim 'Ummah'. Of course, this is a gigantic responsibility. So, every Muslim shall play his/her part. Each Muslim country should uphold Islam to her best. Then, they can come together and unite under, say the OIC, to resolve common problems facing the Muslim 'Ummah'. In this way, the Muslims of the World will be stronger when they are united and not easily bullied by the Super Powers. Furthermore, Rasullullah s.a.w. is the Messenger for the whole of mankind, the World and the Universe. It's our duty to ensure that the World (including the Environment) and the Universe are also a better place to live in for generations to come.

This is why Rasulullah s.a.w. and His Companions r.a. is the best generation that has been brought up for this World because they upheld Islam to the fullest with their dear lives !!!!!!!!!

Best Regards.........

I do not wish to contradict religious fundamentals when they are "fundamentals".

This subject of transparent baju is a "spin" and you people kena pusing until you are doped!

In most cultures, the norms will be there! It's simple sense of proprioty not cause a sensation when there are more serious matters like trying to get a good education in lower school. Maybe, the student or the mom was too much and our normal usual concerns and scolding will put the matter to rest.

Pardon me for saying, if we can't solve this little thing and need the Ompnipresent Divine Almighty over a transparent baju, will we ever be any nearer understanding the big screwup in Petronas and the Judiciary and the Freedom of Expression?

This is a spin. Somebody is wagging the dog!!!

Wise up, People!!!

Dear salak,

Thanks for your comments. We truly understand where you are coming from.

As you may have noticed, we always speak out the truth and the reality of issues when they should be voiced out.

Of course, there are big issues and small issues. That's why the Government needs to prioritize them. That's our expectation.

We have raised many issues and expect the Government to resolve them. Sometimes we also gave some recommendations and resolutions. The bottom line is that the people should not suffer. The Government should put the people's priority first before their priority. Or else, do not get involved with governance. This is the basic requirement.

Best Regards.........

"...Or else, do not get involved with governance. ..."

Thank you, Brother!

We have no choice. We are DOOMED to be involved with GOVERNANCE!

That's an expression! You might mean "government, bad politics". We should now try to figure out that "GOVERNANCE" (which means Good) is the essence and the Blessing! Otherwise it's dog eat dog. That's totally not what Islam is about, isn't it? Or is it? That's hardly "bertamaddun" or "hadhari"!

From 'dog eat dog' we have no choice but to be better! Wasn't that what Prophet Muhammad s.a.w (pbuh) was about when he reformed historical Mecca and Medina?

I believe it is!

Dear tsalak,

Do you think we should give the Government a dateline to revert the oil subsidy structure? Maybe 13-Jul-08.

BTW, Brother, Malaysia-today has an interesting post today -

"...
God thus explains His revelations for you, that you may be guided. Let there be a community of you who invite to what is good, advocate righteousness, and forbid evil. These are the winners. (3:104)

http://www.malaysia-today.net/2008/content/view/8621/84/
..."

..not clear of RPK's source but here's same Imran 3:104 :

"...
And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful.

The Family of Imran, 3:104, Pickthall 1979, New Delhi
..."

We are "doomed" or "blessed" to invite to "goodnes"!

On the date-line, it's past! Do not worry, good will prevail. If the present government has to be in oppositon, let them be. Only then, can they be "invited to goodness". Otherwise, they will perish on their own doing!

You tried so hard to invite them. Maybe things will change after the wilderness!

Dear tsalak,

Yes, we have read that. We are very well versed with RPK's approach and understanding of Islam.

We'll try to mount a video that may enlighten him, hopefully by 22-Jun-08, since it is a long one.

Best Regards.........

I have no grouch against RPK's approach. It will reach the intended crowd which will elucidate the message further. The message is the same - "Command right, and forbid wrong"...

"...invite to what is good, advocate righteousness, and forbid evil...."

"...right conduct and forbid indecency..."

There is only disambiguation - "al-amr bil-mafirüf wal-nahy fian al-munkar", clear as ever: "COMMAND right, and FORBID wrong" !

Whatever is the case in our political life: that of consitutional monarchy, democratic republic or a socialist democratic state. Do good, do right and stop the rot!

Dear tsalak,

That's why we have left him alone. In Da'wah, there are many permissible ways and methods as long as they are not against Islam. The 'ends justify the means' is definitely not one of them. Mind you that Islam is not just 'amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar'. Islam is a way of life and that includes everything we do on this Earth.

He has his own way and audience and we have our own way and audience.

Just to side track a bit, Dr Mahathir has made his move. Our 'radar' has detected that he tried to harm us yesterday but failed to do so. He and gang cannot penetrate our defenses.

So, it looks like its a race to the end. We have Allah s.w.t., angels, prophets and saints on our side and he has his cohorts, wizards and witches on his side. They are our real human enemies in Malaysia. This is our way to stop the rot.

Best Regards.........

Is he that "Evil"?

Wow! Sesat ke dia? Atau memang tak faham? Orang sesat kita boleh bawa balik. Orang tak faham, apa nak buat?

Dear tsalak,

Yes, he definitely is.

Next week, we'll put out an offensive on him. Check our blog then.

We have read that news. Wish that all judges are as brave as him.
